Wilson Rackets

The 2012 Wimbeldon final is over, Roger equaled Peet’s record and we are of to the Olympics. Made a promise to myself that next year I’m going to make all the way from Israel to Wimbeldon and try to watch as much tennis as I can, but mean while take a look what I found here!!!

It seems sometimes that tennis is very different now days from the stuff we watched back then.

I was a little boy, but I somehow remember my father watching this game. Found it now on TUBE, and wanted to share this with you,

especially when you can get it in 1080p Full HD.

The technique is great but nothing to compare about the speed pace and power we can see now and during the last wimbeldon final.

I was simply amazed when I watched the match! They where tlaking about the top players have to face tall players on day two (Karlovich, Rosol), I belived that as Karlovich lost in 3 set games, Rosol will do so too, but he came pumped up with full power

1. playing as you should on grass when you have a big serve .Hit it as hard as you can and run to the net.
2. Rosol played a lot on to Nadal’s Forehand, I don’t recall of a match where Nadal got so many winners on to his forehand side.
3. Rosol put amazing Aces to Nadal’s forehand, at least 4 aces in the last two of his serving games.

Hey guys and girls, I’ll start with some general words about how and why I like the Wilson six two, but first of all thanks to Moshe that let me write my first own in depth review post of the Wilson 6.2.

So how I got there? I played tennis while I was a kid, no pro or serious, but once in a while with the kids in the block, when we grow older we switched the tennis with basketball as the hoops are more handy than tennis courts (thats the way where we lived in), but every time during the US Open time tennis got popular again. So we weren’t to good at tennis, but we enjoyed it!

About two years ago (I’m 35 with two great childrens) I met with one of those childhood freinds and decided to meet and play some tennis, as we didn’t had our old wood rackets with us any more, we got to the local WallMart and got two simple 25$ rackets and two canisters of tennis balls and headed to the nearest tennis club and played, that simple! After playing some months we enrolled to a tennis course and then we got really better and that was the time where we bought our “new” rackets, we looked for a low price who will suite an all court player . We had the Wilson Six two. I must say that when you get better at tennis you must upgrade your racket in order to continue and get better. So at out first match, balls went put for the first couple of games, but as the match progressed you could really start feel more control and accuracy with your shots! So that how I bought my first Wilson k 6.2, since then I played more Wilson rackets (I love to spoil myself with new stuff every year) so I got the Kblade 98 (will review it too) and currently I’m playing the Dunlup 300 Tour.

Tennis happens to be a sport that is generally played amongst two players which is called singles game or with two teams of two players each in a team that is known as doubles. From both teams the players is equipped with a racket that is used to hit a rubber ball over a net that is placed in between the court or a playing field.  The concept of tennis is to hit the ball to the opponent’s side where he or she is unable to hit the ball back to your side. The game of tennis has evolved in many ways and is being held as an Olympic sport as well. There is no age barrier to play this sport as long as you are able to hold the racket and hit the ball you should be fine. Disabled human beings in wheel chairs can also play this sport without any hassle.

The game of tennis originated at France in the early 12^th century. And ever since then tennis has been played throughout time at many different locations in the world.  The modern day game started being played in Birmingham, England in the late 19 century and was known as lawn tennis. It soon became a crowd pleaser and was transformed from lawn tennis to what is known now to mankind as real tennis. In tennis the person who serves the ball needs to stand on one foot or else he is disqualified. The point’s system works in a very orthodox manner 10, 20, 30 and 40 are what is given and then it is the changeover to another set. If both sides are on 40 there is a term which is known as deuce. This means that both sides are on the score of 40 and in order to break the tie the first person to score another two point wins the set. But if they score one point and the opponent scores another it goes back to deuce.

With much new and innovative technological advancement being invented tennis has evolved in a major way. From the courts to the camera angles everything is determined by computers. If the judge is having any doubts on hard decisions he can simply take a look at the replays and determine the points without any complications. Tennis has two major championships which is the Wimbledon championship and the Grand Slam. Players from different parts of the world compete with each other for the title of number one and set a mark in history.
