Stan: I love the K98, ny first under 100 head size racket. Why? thats easy: first of all its incredibly forgiving and comfortable for a player’s racket. The first thing I noticed about the Wilson k blade 98 was its amazing contorl and precise shots.The second thing is that somehow it gave me more powerful and flat serves than ever and actually was surprised of how much power I added to my serves since I first used this. Jen : Hey wilson-rackets.com readers, thanks for the opportunity to write my personal opinion about this one (wilson k98). For starters, I must say that I’ve been playing for along time with the nCode 90 (Fedderer’s first Wilson racket I think), the nCode was a very controled racket, as you would expect from a 90inch head size ;-0, but it felt so heavy for me and I felt I couldn’t play with it long matches and got a but tired during long rallies. Then I read about the k blade 98 and gave it s try. I must say that I was suspicious at the beginning, cause after playing with small head sizes for a long time I was afraid that the kBlade 98 wouldn’t give me the control I was used to. I was very surprised to find out that it was a complete JOY!!! I get the ground strokes very good and its preatty easy to hit the ball for long shots. My regular opponent was amazed too, he was used to winning the long rallies, actually when he had to win a point , he new all he needs to do is to slow it down and stretch the point and he will eventually win it. Well no more!!! The best thing about it is (especially when you switch from a 95 or less racket to a 98-100 racket like the Blade 98 is that you get a lot of power that you weren’t used to, just get used to the fact that you can get more power, not to miss the back-line and you are into a new world of tennis!!!  There is now a BLX version of that racket, but I’m so pleased with the kBlade, that I won’t take the chance , otherwise, I think I’ll get another backup Wilson k98 just in case.

What we think about it?

I love it! I played with it for almost two years and liked it much better that the head that I first started playing with. Its a bit head light so its really to maneuver which lets you swing pretty fast and to be ready to each stroke and quick at the net. At a very popular 100 head size you’ll get some good power too! That’s why I like the k 6.2 so much, its the perfect frame for the intermediate player ready to improve!

What else I like about it?

• Its a deadly combo racket for baseline and net game.
• Will improve your game.
• If you are a beginner and using an OS racket for now, the K6.2 will be your first choice , when going to a more pro racket smaller than the 110+- and bigger that the 90, so this popular head size will still give you power while not loosing much in control.

Bottom line : If you want to upgrade your beginner OS racket to something more pro and on a budget, the Wilson [K] Six.Two will be your first choice, I like it!!!

Well as my all already know the BLX SIx.One is played for some years by the number 1 Rogger F. If there is something so good and trustable for no mistakes, that Rogger wants it, it has to be great!!! So lets dig in and see what we thing about it!!!

For starters, how can you say “bad” things about a racket that the all time best players  is playing with? The Wilson Six.One BLX 90 is the replacement for the Wilson K Factor KSixOne Tour 90 . Wilson got the new tech called BLX that uses Basalat fibers to improve the feel and feedback from the frame, just like the ProStuff rackets as nSixOne Tour 90, Hyper Pro Staff Tour 90 and Pro Staff Kevlar 85.

What did tell as players that used the Wilson Six.One 90  BLX ? There answers are great!

• Goran:Great ground strokes, killing voleys and accuracy with your serves, that what you get when buying that racket! I improved my single handed backhand amazingly during just the few weeks after getting that racket!!! Very good FEEL, as they sayat Wilson.
• Dan:When I thought buyin the Wilson Six1 BLX, people told me that the head is a little to small for me and I’ll feel it a little heavy at the head. But I think that all I have to do, id to put the racket at the right spot when swinging to the ball, and I get the best strokes, much better than I got with other rackets used before (Dan used the Wilson nCode nTour 95 Before).
• Very good frame.It took me some time to get used to the small head at the net, but as you get used to it, you couldn’t imagine how you played with other rackets before!!!
• Tried before the Prince Ignite team 95 and a Balbolat APD, but felt those didn’t suited my style. When I trieed the BLX six1 and also find it a bit strange at swinging and maneuverabillity.When tring Federrer’s model it was imediate WOW, it was sometinhg like the old fashion K-Blade 93 that I used about 7 years ago, but a little more massive and with much more power. Many told me that this frame is a bit demanding one, but I didn’t felt that way at all! I think that this racket is the best combination a played for a lonng time (if ever!!!).

What we think about the Wilson nTour 95 Two?

The nTour 95 Two will be a very good mid level racket!!! and will offer even better value for its price! Well balanced (see specs, a little head heavy) and very light weight. The Wilson nCode nTour Two 95 will be a perfect racket for players that wants to move to a bit more professional racket, but please be aware that moving from a big head racket (100 +) to a 95 headsize  might take some time to get used to. Although the nTour was replaced by the Wilson kFactor line, we can still find this racket a very good one and especially for its low and affordable price!

Over all, the Wilson nCode nTour Two 95 is a great balanced racket for intermediate to advanced tennis players.
